These ASTM B462 Alloy 20 Flanges are made from nickel and copper alloys and include some columbium. UNS N08020 Flanges have outstanding resistance to crevice, pitting and general corrosion. Thus, the copper alloy facilitates great protection against chloride and sulfuric acids. However, the presence of columbium helps reduce carbide precipitation during welding.
